15 Low Carb Smoothies to Brighten Your Morning!

Enjoy these low carb smoothie recipes from some of the most trusted low carb and keto bloggers on the internet. Low carb smoothies are a great breakfast option for those tired of eggs or who need breakfast on-the-go. Healthy fats help you hit those keto macros and keeps you fueled and full.

Keto Breakfast With No Eggs!

Are you tired of eggs for breakfast? That’s the most common complaint I hear from people who have chosen a low carb diet. But, eggs aren’t required for breakfast. Instead have a delicious breakfast smoothie.

Traditional smoothie recipes are typically full of fruit and sugars like honey. While they may contain antioxidants, they often lack protein or fat. Because natural fruit fibers are pulverized in the blender (making them more digestible, which raises blood sugar faster) these treats seldom keep you full for long.

BUT… These tasty low carb smoothie recipes keep fruit at a minimum. Using fruit for flavor instead of a main ingredient, keeps sugars low.

Low Carb Keto Breakfast Smoothies

Healthy added fats in the form of coconut milk, heavy cream, coconut oil, or MCT oil supplies energy for fat fueled metabolisms.

Protein powder provides vital amino acids for supporting muscles. Added fiber fluffs up a low carb keto smoothie, enhancing its creamy texture.

Here are some of the best looking smoothies I found from trusted low carb and keto recipe creators on the internet. Enoy!

If you have any questions about low carb or keto smoothie ingredients, ask in the comments or email me. I’m happy to help.

Hi Joanne. The smoothie names are linked to the posts where the recipes live on their respective blogs. I hope this helps. -Kim

Your reply is cryptic and confusing—it was a simple question–WHERE ARE THE RECIPES? I’ve never been on a site that doesn’t have a link to the recipe. Why display a beautiful picture with a tantalizing description and then basically say good luck trying to make this with no help from us.

Hi Bern. This is called a Recipe Roundup. Most blogs and recipe sites include them in one form or another. If you notice, beneath each photo is a brief description, then a green “continue reading” button. Clicking the button will bring you to the page on the specific blog on which the recipe lives.

Recipe Roundups serve two purposes. First, they offer hand curated content in one place so you don’t have to hunt around for content and miss something great that is hiding on page 10 of a Google search. Second, they provide links to the content being shared which tells Google that what is being linked to is valued. This can bring that awesome recipe from page 10 to page 3-2-1 where it has a better chance of being seen. That’s a win-win for the blogger and persons doing queries on that subject.

Again, you can get to the recipe of the smoothie you like by clicking on the green “continue reading” button and visiting the page of the blogger on which the recipe lives.

I hope this includes the right amount of information to be helpful and not cryptic. Have a nice day. -Kim
